Lot 77 James Monroe
Partly-printed rigid vellum DS as president, one page, 13 x 8.5, July 5, 1819. President Monroe grants 80 acres of land in Ohio to Jacob Short. Signed at the conclusion by Monroe, and countersigned by the Commissioner of the General Land Office Josiah Meigs. Intersecting folds, and scattered light toning and soiling, otherwise fine condition. The white seal is lightly toned and worn, but intact.
